GOTCHA!
Sorry, we will not be sharing the sex of the baby quite yet on our blog. We have a cute idea to let most people know the sex and name of our sweet pea. But the best and most important news is that the baby's heart looks and sounds GREAT! This morning, I saw a fetal cardiologist who was able to do the coolest things with a special heart ultrasound. I tell you what, technology these days is absolutely amazing. The doctor was very thorough and checked all of the chambers, valves, arteries, and veins while explaining to me everything we were seeing. I am very thankful for my science background as I could understand most of what he was taking about. After spending 30 minutes with him, I went downstairs to get a "Level 2 Ultrasound" which is more detailed than a regular one. The second doctor said all of the organs, bones, etc of the baby looked great! We also got some 3D shots that were unreal. Baby still looks like a little alien, and the doc said she/he had some very big feet! I can't blame all of that one on Steve, my waterskiis are well....just that...very long and skinny!

The coolest part of the morning was when she told us the sex of the baby while Steve was on speakerphone. I knew right away when I saw...and Steve couldn't stop laughing. That's what he does when he is very happy :-). I have put some pictures from the ultrasound below. Soon, we will blog about the sex and name of our little one! On a less important note, Steve's team lost last night. Not a huge surprise, but Steve is getting better and better at guard. We are so thankful to the Lord for the experience that he is gaining and for keeping him strong and healthy.
Thank you Jesus for such a miracle in our baby. This day has been amazing. You are too awesome to bless us with health, love, and most importantly, Yourself. Your grace is sufficient for us, for your power is made perfect in our weakness. We surrender our lives to you.
