Well, the Colts are in the Superbowl this weekend. Anyone aware of that? HA! Just a few people have reminded Steve and I of this fact :-). So who are we rooting for? Well, to be honest, as two very competitive souls, there is a part of us that wants the Saints to take home the Lombardi. But then again, we have many friends who are with the Colts who we love dearly! I think the the resounding theme that we keep communicating to people is that we are very thankful for this past year. If we were at the Superbowl, we wouldn't be living in Charlotte. Of course Steve would LOVE to be in this game, but he's not, and he is not crying about it. We must thank God for the many blessings He has given us and not focus on what we don't have. So, on Sunday, we will root for a great game - for our friends to be protected from injury - and for God to be glorified in such a media-driven extravaganza. Because remember, to everyone else, this is entertainment...to us, it is a job.
Big week next week! I start at the Charlotte Athletic Club on Monday and we go to our new doctor and take a trip down to Wake to speak at AIA on Tuesday!
