WOW! It has been yet another long period of time since my last post. Ugh. I have wanted to sit down and write for a while. Life has been nuts...awesome, but nuts. Hannah is EVERYWHERE. She is almost standing on her own, and she is super cute. She smiles at everything, and she crinkles her nose and eyebrows with each grin. She melts our hearts. She loves Mommy, and I love that, but sometimes it can be wearisome as she only wants me. Makes it hard to get things done at times, but I wouldn't trade it for a thing. I'm sure it will seem like tomorrow when she wants nothing to do with me! She is still long and lean - 75th percentile for her height and 10th percentile for her weight. The doctor's aren't worried, as she eats a ton (albeit, spits a ton too), sleeps 12.5+ hours each night, and is happy happy! But we still have to go to the doc every month to check on her progress. We thank the Good Lord for health insurance. They say she is just built like her mommy :-). Hannah brings us so much joy, and Daddy is wrapped around her little finger. We can just imagine what life will be like when she actually can request things from him! Wonder who will have to be the "tough guy" around here? HA!
Steve finished out the season with the Tuskers. He was gone for Thanksgiving, but my parents came up to the Q city. We had a blast and Hannah enjoyed her sweet time with Nana and Papa. We cooked a delicious meal - a bit untraditional with soup, stuffing, spinach salad, rolls, and cranberry relish. I made Steve's "famous" chocolate chip cookies that he makes for me, made with almond flour, applesauce, dark chocolate, and agave nectar. MMM soo good! Hannah looked so cute in her little Christmas outfit with ruffles on the butt from Nana :-).

The Tuskers went to the championship but lost to the Las Vegas Locos in the last seconds of the game. It was a blessing for him to meet and form new friendships with many guys. It was hard having him gone for 4+ weeks, but we are so thankful for the opportunity. Since he has been back, we haven't had a break! We went to Austin to see my wonderful sister and her family. We had a blast in the beautiful hill country with the best local flavor this country has to offer. I went rock climbing with my super athletic niece, and Steve went to his first Texas high school football game with our two nephews (Lake Travis' semifinal at Texas Longhorn Stadium). He was impressed to see more than 8,000 people attend a 4A high school playoff game. Texas is serious about their football, no doubt.

So where are we now? What are we doing next? Well, life is good. God has totally blessed our personal training business, and He is bringing us new clients every week (not to mention allowing us to continue to train the awesome ones we already have). Steve is in the process of applying to be a Charlotte Firefighter, but that really won't get going until the summer. Steve has decided to leave the football door open. NFL or UFL, he may go if the time, place, and situation is right. For now, we are enjoying our time together and the many blessings God has given us. We have learned to live in the moment, because we never know when the moment may change!
Our sweet friends Kaley and Caitlin (former WFU teammates) who we surprisingly spotted at the mall in Charlotte! Two professional soccer playing hot mammas!
Our best friend Ashley with Hannah. We were so excited for her to visit after running in the USTA National Cross Country meet!

Our latest news is that we have moved into a new home! Words can't really describe how excited we are about it. We have literally been looking at places since we moved to Charlotte. While were very thankful for the home that we were in, being on a busy road and two staircases was a major drawback once Hannah started crusin' around. This past month we almost signed on about 2 or 3 homes, but decided last minute to wait longer, as neither of us had a peace about it. Let me say, patience and waiting for God is worth it. We have spent the last week moving into our new place. We are just renting, and plan to do so for a while, even if we know we will be in Charlotte for good. The home is a duplex, and the owner lives on the other side. It has everything we have ever wanted and is in the most beautiful neighborhood with tons of trees, kids, and lawns! Another huge plus is that the house is 3 miles from uptown, where we do most of our training. Amazing. Here are some pics before we moved in. We have been working our tails off to get everything moved - and we are EXHAUSTED. We are "expert" movers at this point, but Hannah has made things a little more "difficult" this time around. I will post "post move" pics when we get back!

We are in Port Orange, FL now, spending time Christmas with Steve's family. Everyone is here: Kevin, Krista, Caden, Cale, Doug, Erin, Lil Kevin, Steve, Hannah, me, Grams and Pops. It is a FULL house, but we are enjoying our time together because this doesn't happen very often! I am bound and determined to write a "post Christmas" entry and a "New Years" entry. We will see if I live up to my expectations.
God bless you all. Let us not forget the reason for the season. My the Lord bless you and your family during this joyous time of year.
