Just wanted to give a quick little update. Steve did well in his first interview with the Charlotte Fire Department (CFD). We weren't sure when we would hear from them, and expected another long wait. But our prayers were definitely answered when Steve received a call the next morning (last Friday) that they wanted to see him for his polygraph test this week! He performed the test yesterday and feels very well about his performance. He also had a good time getting to know the test administrator. Moreover, one of our clients and one of Steve's former teammates provided recommendations to one of the Chiefs who said he already knew of Steve. So, we are thankful, not for the gift, but for the Giver.
We will keep you updated. Until then, here are some fun and goofy pics of our sweet little fam. Hannah is awesome, by the way. I sometimes wish she would have been born at 16 months of age, haha. But seriously, each day just gets better, we are thankful for each second we have with our precious little angel.
